Project Overview
A Canadian Education provider served growing student cohorts with largely static course content and limited tools to adapt lessons to individual progress. Instructors struggled to spot learning gaps early, and students received the same pathways regardless of skill level or engagement. Starling Elevate scoped an AI Personalized Learning Platform to deliver adaptive education at scale.
The six-month project used Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI for content personalization, an AI recommendation engine for course and resource suggestions, and Agentic AI workflows to orchestrate assessments, tutoring, and progress updates. Work covered student onboarding, learning analysis, adaptive path generation, AI tutor interactions, progress tracking, and continuous pathway refinement.
Faculty, instructional designers, and student success teams needed a platform that supported diverse learning styles without adding manual grading or content curation overhead.
